Eva Godden Testimonial
How do you feel the coaching went in terms of what you originally expected?
I can honestly say that I never expected the level of support I received from Andrew Smith. Nothing seemed a “problem” or effort for Andrew and he went out of his way to make sure that our conversations were worthwhile and uplifting. I personally liked the way he substantiated his statements and enriched it with his own life experiences. The most amazing thing is that it was so deep and confidential and we’d never known or met each other before.
What have been some of your personal breakthroughs and achievements?
A strong belief that I can actually “do” those things I set out in my goals. Lost five kilos and started training more seriously. I decided when to start my new coaching business and managed to arrange my finances despite all odds. My relationship with my husband has greatly improved, even though we were a happy couple before. I celebrate everyday “honestly”, even when it is raining, that is the hardest thing for me, as I am someone who comes from a warmer climate than the British Isles.
What difference has coaching made to your life?
It gave me day-to-day life and more structure and purpose. The goals set made it easier to focus on important things.
What can you do now that you couldn’t before coaching?
My mind is clearer what I want to achieve. Coaching gave me confidence and taught me that it is possible to achieve things by wanting them.
What has changed in your life?
My outlook is more positive and the road ahead is clearer. People see that I’ve changed but don’t know why and how, but seeing somebody else in front of them
What new skills has coaching given you?
Coaching has taught me how to focus and choose things which are important, it has also helped me to clear the clutter. I no longer hurry, hurry, hurry all along the way
What specific result have you had whilst coaching?
I was able to say “No!” to specific requests in my working life, which I would have been unable to do before and made a decision to change direction. I have also lost weight and gained more confidence.
What would you say to someone thinking of using a coach?
You don’t know yourself until you sit down and think about what is important or what you want from life. Coaching will be a challenging and surprising event in your life.
In 2 words sum up coaching?
Reassuring & Nurturing
Anything else?
A coach is a friend without ulterior motives, who can get you out of a hole, out of the bad days of your life. A coach is a necessity in our 21st Century materialistic world.
